It all started with a pair of clippers, some rowdy boys on skateboards, and a cool mom’s garage. Justin loved to cut his friends' mo-hawks, and they let him. When he realized he could actually cut hair and was good at it, he decided to get formally educated. With the skills to back the talent, Justin began his professional hairstylist career in 1994. Instead of making boys look grungy (and their poor moms cry), he’s busy making women look and feel beautiful, sophisticated and stylish.
Justin is trained in Balayage highlights!Justin is extensively trained in the Goldwell color line, where he was the Goldwell ambassador for his previous salon, Bella Rinova. He has participated in many Goldwell education courses across the country and even traveled to Finland to stay on top of trends and new technology. He is also an expert at Balayage Highlights, a coloring technique that emerged in Paris in the 1970’s and became popular again in the late 1990’s, which requires a good eye and a steady hand.
Additionally, he is trained and certified to tame wild and unruly hair with Keratin Treatments and Japanese Straighteners. Justin’s precision scissor cutting technique, razor cutting, dry cutting and modern styling sets him apart from the pack. He is known for creating looks that are individual for each client.
